What is a "mending" circle?
Given the state of the world today, mending is a metaphor for bringing people together, to heal the separation too many feel, to build community.
Mending is a term we use not only for clothes, blankets, shoes, and other articles. We talk about mending a broken heart or mending our ways, about knitting together broken bones. This speaks to making things whole again, restoring back to health.
